Giving at New Song

If you are a first-time guest of New Song, or are not yet a Christian, we don't want your money. We are happy that you are able to join us. If you visit us for a weekend service, be sure to fill out a Communication Card and drop it into the offering. That is your contribution to the service, and it will give us a chance to get to know you better!

As members of New Song, we like to entertain the idea of "hilarious generosity." That is, happily bringing our first fruits to God, and seeing how He provides for faithful givers. (We're not making this stuff up. It can be found in the Bible in Proverbs 3:9 & 2 Corinthians 9:7) Generously giving in this way can sometimes be scary to the point of hilarious. Tithing is one area in the Bible that God offers us to test Him and see how He rewards. (Malachi 3:10)

Finances can often be a touchy subject at churches. At New Song, we publish our weekly budget and income in the program, and release an annual budget report so that anyone who wishes can see how the money is being spent. Further, we have an independent company audit our finances every year. So you can rest assured that every penny is carefully budgeted to help unchurched people become fully devoted followers of Christ.
