New Song Community Church

The purpose of New Song Community Church is to help people in their spiritual journey  become fully devoted followers of Christ. Spiritual growth is a process that requires the practice of habits that help us think and act more like Jesus. There are two core truths we believe about spiritual growth.

1) It's yours and God's responsibility that you grow spiritually.

"Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,  for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose."  Philippians 2:12-14

2) Spiritual Growth is not automatic. You need to learn how feed yourself.

“You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right."  Hebrews 5:12-13

The truth is you could be a Christian for twenty years but still be a one year old spiritualy. That's why we created the Next Steps Brochure to help you own our own faith and spirial growth. Below are descriptions and opportunities to sign up for great first steps you can take to grow closer to God.

One of the last things Jesus said to his disciples was, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, BAPTIZING THEM in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and teaching them everything I've commanded you. Surely I will be with you always to the ends of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20) One you have received Christ as your personal savior Jesus wants you to get baptized. We celebrate baptisms almost every week. Click the button below to be taken through our short baptism orientation and to sign up for a date.

This 90 minute class is based off the "parable of the four soils" that Jesus shares in Matthew 13. The class is all about how to have a faith that last. We recommend that this is a great place to start wherever you are at in your spiritual journey. Next Available Dirt Classes May 15th 4pm (Dinner and Child Care provided) May 22nd 9:30am

Foundations is a powerful one on one discipleship tool where you meet with someone four times for about 30 minutes. You'll discover basics of the faith and how to keep growing spiritually. Once you've been taken through foundations you are trained now to disciple others.
