Elementary

Our time with elementary kids is divided into three segments:

Activity Stations

We offer a variety of activities to make children feel welcome, when they arrive. It’s about choice, fun, and hanging out with caring (and cool) adults.

Worship & Teach

Worship PromiseLand-style is active, fun, and meaningful. "The Teach" is done by one or two gifted teachers with drama, video, props, and some silliness.

Small Groups

Children discuss the point of "The Teach" and apply it to their lives in their small groups. They also review the memory verse and pray together. This is when they connect most deeply with their leader and other students.

We have two elementary rooms:

Kindergartners and First Graders are in the Gear Room.

Second thru Fifth Graders are in the Spot.

252 Basics

Our curriculum for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade

The 252 Basics materials are built around three basic truths we emphasize using 36 monthly themes and 150 Bible stories.

The Three Basic Truths are:
  • I need to make the wise choice.
  • I can trust God no matter what.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Each month, we focus on one virtue like responsibility, kindness, or courage.

The "Bottom Line" and Bible story unpack different aspects of a virtue each week.

The Memory Verse for the month teaches what the Bible says about that virtue.

Cue Box

www.studio252.tv

This website will help reinforce God’s word and godliness in your kids. This pack comes with tools for you to engage in conversations about the virtue throughout the week. Each pack include a drive time CD your kids will beg you to play, dinner time discussion starters, bedtime stories, and note cards. You can strengthen your child’s spiritual life without much expertise or time.

Each week you will receive a refrigerator magnet, when you pick your kid up in PromiseLand. It will help you know what's important throughout the week. Use it as a conversation starter with your kids, to build the virtue into your family’s dialogue.

The kids receive a "God Time Card," when they leave each week. Encourage them to use it for their time with God, to learn more about the Bible and godly virtues.
