Preschoolers
Some say it’s the snacks. Others say it’s the craft or toys. But we know our team of volunteers make our preschool rooms so popular with children.
We use age-appropriate story time, crafts, and play time to teach Bible stories and important life lessons like sharing Playdough with friends.
As the children grow, story times become more interactive and the activities get more challenging.
We have three preschool rooms:
- Talkers (28 months to 36 months) - Room 102
- Three’s - Room 104
- Four’s & Five’s (Five’s not in Kindergarten) - Room 105
Your preschooler will make friends with other children in their PromiseLand class and bond with their teachers. Just wait until they see someone from PromiseLand at the grocery store.
My First Look
Our preschool curriculum:
There are three basic truths about God preschoolers should know. We focus on one of these truths each month:
- God made me.
- God loves me.
- God wants to be my friend forever.
The "Bottom Line" is the key concept we teach throughout the month. We stay on one "Bottom Line" to help preschoolers know and understand the idea.
Preschoolers will hear, see, and say the same memory verse all month. This will help them understand and memorize it.
Each week we teach a different Bible story that focuses on one aspect of the "Bottom Line." Your preschooler will learn all the great Bible stories in the context of the monthly "Bottom Line."
Each week, you will receive a handout that summarizes what your child learned and how you can help them continue learning at home.
