(What our ministry is really about!)

-We’re fully aware that this is something only God can do which means we pray like crazy for our students. (Ephesians 1:16-18, 1 Corinthians 3:7)

-The true mark of how successful our ministry is doing will show five years after a student graduates. We must teach students how God has created them to grow in their faith and not be dependent on our ministry. (John 15:5-7, 1 Corinthians 3:1-2)

-It’s difficult to go a page in scripture without seeing God’s heart for the entire world. Student’s must see the role we play living in the wealthiest country in the world and play an active role in helping those in need. (John 3:16, 1 Tim 6:17-19, Matt 24:14)

-The goal is not try harder and harder to follow God but simply to let go more and more of our lives to Him. Our ministry must be an overflow of what He’s doing in our own lives or we’re working in our own power and will experience burnout. (Philippians 2:17, Ps 23:5, Gal. 5:22-23)

-Christianity was never intended to be just an individual experience. The church is a family you belong too and we’ll do everything we can to make our ministry a place where people are loved, served, listened to and celebrated. (1 John 3:16, Psalm 133:1)

-We were made to tell others about the good news of Christ. Students will never have a better opportunity to reach their friends then during these years. (Matt. 28:19-20, Philemon 6, John 15:16)

-God has made every person for a specific purpose. A huge role of our ministry is to help them figure that out, and cheer them on to develop that gift.

-You can’t go a page in scripture without seeing God work supernaturally in people’s lives yet it’s so easy to live like God doesn’t work that way anymore. We much teach and live out a lifestyle of expectancy when it comes to the Holy Spirit in our lives. (Acts 1:8, John 16:7)
